PHARMACY AND HEALTH CARE
I have the desire and passion to be a medical doctor. I possess a unique combination of sound scientific approach and high emotional quotient and the right concern and skills to address human health problems.
I hope to establish free medical centers in rural areas who have no access to direct medical services and will provide free medical services to commuters. I’ll work with other team members to ensure that drugs are distributed to people who can’t afford to get it. I will work to make other people feel better and to reach my goals, I need as much help as possible, and AWEC has the right answer to my request. I have the moral support of my family and friends but that’s not quite enough to make my dreams come true. I hope that the AWEC college support can help me reach this dream by awarding me this college support.

My family is considered low or poor by today’s standard. Being the first daughter in a family of three children and owing to the early death of my mother, I have had to mature quickly and learned at a young age what responsibility means. My youngest siblings look up to me as some might say ‘a mother figure” although my dad has always been an important part of our lives. Having such a poor background, my father has not been able to save for our university education. Therefore, I need this scholarship to help further my education without creating a financial burden for my father. My younger ones look up to me, so it is very important that I take the time to teach them that I can. But what is most important is that I be a positive role model and show them that education is the door to success. I believe God touched the hearth of “AWEC” to help me achieve my goals and make my dreams for my family, my country Nigeria, and the world at large a reality. If I am given this academic support, my dreams of impacting knowledge and skills to the citizens of my country and the global community will become a reality.
I will create a platform where refined students across the world will access information on energy studies and telecom. I will be at the forefront of developing new technologies for a number of industries including transport, healthcare, construction and robotics.
Conclusively, the economy is getting weaker day after day; there is persistent rise in price of goods and services all over the country including tuition fees for tertiary institutions which has discouraged so many bright futures. Because of the increase in economic recession in the country, my family now depend on loan with high interest rates so as to be able to take care of my elder sisters education. Also inadequate student loan scheme has left me with the only option of writing knowing fully well how delay can be dangerous.
Studying medicine in the University will provide information that can help to control epidemics and even predict impending outbreaks. In this capacity, I can work alongside researches as to find new cure to disease. I will also provide alternative treatment procedures and facilities which will be cheap and affordable and also reduces illness.
I am so much in need of sponsorship so as to lift the burden of debt from my family. My father has always been an important part of my life. Unfortunately his job as a secondary school teacher has not allowed him to save for our University education because he has to take care of the three basic needs of family which are Food, Clothing and Shelter. Also this will influence my siblings positively as it serves as an encouragement for them to always work hard. It will be a source of joy to my parents who always wish the best for their children as there prayer has been answered.

I want to be a professional engineer because it challenges me, involving making solutions, allows me to be creative, work with people, and suits my interest and goals. Most of all, it is the career which I feel best suits me as a person and that is the career I feel I will most enjoy, the career where I will return home to Nigeria with a smile on my face fully equipped to add value to the standard of living in my country with the knowledge I acquired in a university.
I view this opportunity as a privilege which will enable me to express my opinions to the world hence bring a positive change and blessings on the global community.
Conclusively, I look forward to making my country, family and the global community proud when I become a qualified, competent and proficient engineer. So, I want to use this medium to express my heartfelt gratitude for this grand privilege that is extended to me. And I solely wish my dreams will surely come true.

In order to reach a large number of people, it would be essential to learn what will assist in reaching them the most. Computer engineering fits perfectly well into the picture. To get a sound knowledge of this, therefore, I seek to study in a university where theory and practice are happily married. This of course, will in no little way be a blessing to me, my family and the global community at large. Studying computer engineering will help me discover some potential and hiding treasure in the wide world and also discover solution of problems we are facing in technology, my country and the world at large,
With the zeal to learn, the will to study and the necessary skills for adaptation inbred in me, I believe I will fare well if given the opportunity and properly guided.

I can’t achieve this aim without attending a university. If am given this academic grant support, I will be able to make new inventions, I will also be able to continue my education in computer science until PhD level and delve in research throughout my undergraduate study and adapt at modeling and analyzing problems. As computing offers great opportunities for true creativity and innovativeness, I will become creative and innovative. My family will no longer be considered low in today’s standard as I will gain a decent graduate job. Also I will ensure that my fellow Nigerian youths will develop attitude towards university education and also bring about a computer literate citizenry in Nigeria as well as help build the economy of my beloved country.

As a doctor, I hope to continue securing in areas of the country , for one reason or another , are lagging behind in basic health care infrastructure. In short I see the role of physicians in the society as multifunctional. They are not only doctors who heal.
I will like to be considered for this academic grant support because I known my passion to be a medical doctor will make a change in the health sector. I have started in a little way by making science subjects my dearest in high school because efficiency and proficiency at work demand that one has a right choice of career. Medicine as a profession to me is more than any profession and I pray to God to give me the strength, knowledge and the opportunity to achieve necessary skills to fulfill my earnest desire, because I believe can break new grounds in the health sector which will benefit my family, community and Nigeria as a whole.
